OpenLDAP Software is an open source implementation of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol.
The suite includes:

  • slapd – stand-alone LDAP daemon (server)
  • ibraries implementing the LDAP protocol, and
  • utilities, tools, and sample clients.

Download source and prepare to compilation:
