Piotr Tarnowski (DrFugazi)
Computer Engineer, graduate of Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Technical Physics, Information Technology and Applied Mathematics.
His career in IT began as service activities, providing support to companies operating the accountancy programs written in Clipper and C ++. Then, for nearly 10 years took care of the IT infrastructure based on Sun Solaris systems (2.6, 9, 10) at the University of Silesia in Katowice. One of the main designers and developers of Directory Services (LDAP) and a modern e-mail system for University. Enthusiastic approach and over 10 years of experience with Oracle Solaris resulted in taking the position of Senior Unix Administrator / IT Consultant at Capgemini Poland, where, together with a team of engineers manages client’s infrastructure based on Oracle Solaris 10 and 11 and the Solaris Cluster with virtualization based on the Solaris Zones and VMware.
Winner of Bench Games 2013 in Apache 2.0 Administration and runner-up of Unix Administration (Solaris 10).
In his free time riding on a motorcycle, blogging, also likes extraordinary cars, progressive rock, movies, books and games.
